Where to Start?

I was inspired today by my friend Karissa Shaw to start blogging. I've never done it, I have to admit I'm a little nervous. Let me prepare you, I am an awful proof-reader so there WILL be spelling/grammatical errors-don't judge. The title 5863, is the address to my new lovely home (pictures coming soon).

For any of you who need an update, here is a summary: I graduated from University of Idaho in May and landed a job with Stryker in San Jose, CA. I moved here in June, and I live with my old roommate/friend from college. She is newly single, and boy do we have a lot of stories to share lately. I will try to keep these blogs short, honest, and light. I hope you enjoy!

To start this baby off I'm going to fill you in on some details. These are going to be some common names: Chelsea (roommate/friend/co-worker), Michael Douglas Andrews (friend/co-worker) I call him any of those three names and sometimes Bob. Casey (fellow college friend/co-worker) and Justin (Casey's BF/friend). Every weekend so far has been spent with Chels and Doug. Last weekend Chels and I met Douglas and Justin up in San Fransisco for a night on the town and boy did we hit it hard. Doug and Justin were already "3 sheets to the wind" and Chels and I had to quickly catch up. This was the result: Justin left us with no clarification of where he was going and how we were going to get into Casey's apartment, where we were staying for the night. Micahel found himself a great London gal, I ate a hotdog (no bacon!) and piece of pizza and the three of us ended up sleeping in Chelsea's Honda until 5:30 am, when Justin woke up after 13 missed calls and let us in. I used my overnight bag for a blanket, and Chels and I shoved 6 foot 6 Michael in the back seat. We were parked on a busy street in San Fransisco, there were street lights at least. This night we all quickly realized the hierarchy of our trio when drinking: Chelsea bosses me around, and I boss Michael around. Sorry Mike, we will add someone for you to boss soon.

This weekend was a little more tame, (NOT!). Us three (as usual) went to a party at Chris's house (he is 1 of 3 identical triplet boys). About an hour into the party Michael pulls Chels and I in close and says very seriously and quietly "hey.. guys.. I have to ask you something... are there three people here that are related?" Nothing gets by him. Saturday night we got a pretty good group together: Jarrod, Aron, Shann Dan, Mike, Chels and I ventured to the Saddlerack. This is a western themed bar in Fremont California, one that my parents apparently loved back in the day. This night ended in swing dancing, and piggy back rides out of the bar...thanks Jarrod again for the ride.

Today we had in-n-out for breakfast and did absolutely nothing.

Other fun facts:

Recently our land lord tried to make Chels pay for a 43 YEAR OLD toilet that spontaneously cracked. 43 years is a lot of years for a toilet...

I have a very hard to break addiction to Doritos Locos tacos from Taco Bell. I recently discovered you can buy the shells for 60 cents each...not good.

I'm still struggling with my craving for a dog (Cheerio, my future Goldendoodle) and thought it would be a good idea to post an ad on Craigslist asking if I could dog sit. The only response I received was a very inappropriate email from 'my flame', Lorene.

Chels and I only know how to cook a few meals: tacos, taco salad, burritos, spaghetti, toast, cereal, protein shakes.. All of which are getting very old, fast. Ideas wanted.

Mike, Chels and I have seen a total of 4 completely butt naked men in San Fransisco so far. I'm sure that number will increase over the year.

Our neighbor sits on the back patio on a nightly basis and loudly farts/burps, and fights with his GF/Fiance (they both have different answers). This is one of the joys of living so close to people.

Well I think thats enough for now, I know I said I would keep these short.. I guess I lied. Sorry I started our relationship off on a bad start... ;)
